Karen Haydon lives and works in Windsor, England where she supports her addiction for travel and shoes as a professional translator and language studies teacher. She developed a passionate interest in languages and linguistic studies at school and continued studying German, Italian and French at university. After completing her degree, Karen accepted a position in Vienna, Austria as both a language teacher and professional translator; it is during this experience that she refined her skills in both disciplines. Karen has a diverse collection of translation work experience ranging from technical papers, teaching materials and legal contracts to gardening books and children’s stories.
